All concerned with interfaith are invited to participate in a very special event in Parliament, which aims to allow a free and open discussion about the state of interfaith in Britain. The meeting will take place on:
TUESDAY 17 MARCH AT 1.30PM ARRIVAL FOR 2.00PM PROMPT START, UNTIL 4.00PM
To attend, for security reasons please e-mail us with your full name and a contact mobile number, and we will add you to the guest list. Please allow at least 30 minutes to pass through the security check at Parliament.The current environment nationally and internationally presents a number of challenges to community relations and interfaith harmony between different faiths. We are strong supporters of the positive work that the Inter Faith Network (IFN) has done – as a national interfaith body which is overwhelmingly funded by the British taxpayer.The current national and international environment presents a number of challenges to community relations and harmony between different faiths.We therefore ask for your assistance, and invite you to bring your ideas and your questions to a meeting about how the challenges our changing world presents can best be met. This invite is open to Parliamentarians, IFN officers and Executive Committee members, interfaith groups, experts in the field and ordinary members of the public.

I’d like to attend your meeting on 17 March – in a personal capacity: I have particular experience in ecumenical and interfaith affairs – especially as they relate to the promotion of the key policy for peace: income/economic equality.

Thanks for your reply. I have passed it on to our Secretary who will contact you with registration details for the meeting.
I am currently requesting personal contributions from people of different faiths on the subject of mutual respect between religions – for example how in your view Quakerism would support such respect. If you are moved to write an article I would be very happy to receive it. The suggested length is between 300 and 1000 words.
