MIVILUDES is the French acronym for “Interministerial Mission for the fight against sectarian deviances” – an official body within the Office of the Prime Minister. MIVILUDES is the main source of justifications in Mr. Salles report. It should also be noted that Mr. Salles is a member of MIVILUDES.

This video shows the former President of MIVILUDES inventing and grossly inflating statistics with regards to “sects” on television and then interviewing different government ministries within France as part of an enquiry into “sects”. Unfortunately for him, the enquiry demonstrates there is no significant problem at all.
