The Lord Mayor’s Civic Service is held yearly, usually in a church connected to the faith of the current Lord Mayor. The service is a religious service to celebrate the connection of the mayor to the community.

This year, Crawley’s Lord Mayor, Raj Sharma, a Hindu by faith, held a vibrant and beautiful Civic Service at the Gurjar Hindu Union (GHU) Temple. Attending was the local Member of Parliament Henry Smith, councillors and members of different religions including All Faiths Network.
