Heaton Park synagogue

AFN is saddened by the horrific attack on the Heaton Park synagogue in Manchester today thoroughly condemns it and the motivations behind this event. Our thoughts are with the victims and the community and wish them strength to get through this difficult period.
Hate crime and violence against any religion or group is despicable yet we must remember that those committing these acts are a very small minority whilst the greater majority wishes to live together in community. This is a very real menace but let not our minds be turned to think otherwise and so feed the fear and destruction such people wish to seed.
Let us stand firm and resolute together in the face of such people.
