The All Faiths Network participated in UK’s Interfaith Week with an event featuring a broad range of different artistic religious performances intermixed with short talks from an equally wide range of speakers.
The purpose of our event was to show that whilst religions may be widely different in expression and approach, there is also a commonality of values. Sharing our different expressions of faith through words, music, song and dance was really a heart-warming and inspiring experience for all.
One of the themes that underlies bringing about peace in this world is an initiative already launched and broadly agreed upon by the attendees was to work with the United Nations to instigate a World Moral Education Day (see separate page).
